Submissions

For students:

We would love to see your completed work from DWWP, as well as the stages you went through to get there. We really mean it about seeing the stages. Please scan each stage as you complete it (for example: narrative arc workup, outline, notes, character designs, thumbs, revised thumbs, revised-again thumbs, rough pencils, lettering, tight pencils, inks, corrections for the six-page story).

We can't promise to get back to you individually, but in some cases we may want to use your work as an example on the site, in which case, we'll let you know.

To submit work:

Pencils or sketches: scan at 150 dpi at full size (don't reduce it), in grayscale or RGB color. Inked work: If you have completed, corrected work to submit, scan it using the procedure in Chapter 14, and submit it at 1200 dpi bitmap at full size. If you've inked part of it, but want to show us the pencil or corrections at the same time, scan at 150 dpi grayscale or RGB at full size. For written work, submit it as RTF files.

For teachers:

We would love to see work from your class, and especially, to hear from you as to how you used DWWP. Please send art and lesson plans and syllabi, and send us your experiences with DWWP in your classroom.

We can't guarantee to respond to you individually, but in many cases, we may want to use your feedback on this site, in which case, expect an email from us.
